Google Rolls Out Veo 3 for All Gemini Pro Users in India and Globally

Google has officially begun the rollout of its latest AI video generation model, Veo 3, to the Gemini app for all Pro subscribers across the globe, including India.

Unveiled during the Google I/O conference in May, Veo 3 gained praise for its ability to generate video clips with natural audio effects, including dialogue, background noise, and other ambient sounds. The tool allows users to create video clips up to 8 seconds long, enhancing realism and creativity.

Originally, Veo 3 was slated for availability only to Google AI Ultra subscribers at a monthly price of $249.99. However, Google has now extended access to all AI Pro users, who pay a significantly lower monthly fee of $19.99.

According to Josh Woodward, VP at Google Labs and the Gemini app, Pro users will be able to generate three videos per day using Veo 3. After reaching this daily cap, they can continue creating content using the previous model, Veo 2.

The Veo 3 rollout is being conducted in phases and will eventually reach users in 159 countries.
