“Borrowed Lakhs…”: RCB’s Yash Dayal Responds to Sexual Exploitation Allegations, Files FIR Against Accuser

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) fast bowler Yash Dayal has finally broken his silence following serious allegations made against him by a woman from Ghaziabad. The woman has lodged an FIR accusing the cricketer of sexual exploitation on the pretext of marriage, prompting Dayal to file a counter-complaint alleging theft and fraud.

The FIR was registered at Indirapuram police station under BNS Section 69, which pertains to sexual intercourse by deceitful means, including false promises of marriage. According to a senior police official, the action followed a complaint submitted by the woman through Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) on June 21. She claimed she was in a relationship with Dayal for five years and was physically exploited during that time.

In response, the 27-year-old pacer, who recently lifted the IPL 2025 title with RCB, approached the Khuldabad police station in Prayagraj, seeking legal action against the woman. In his detailed three-page complaint, Dayal alleged that the woman stole an iPhone and a laptop from him. He also named two members of her family and several others in his plea for a formal FIR.

Dayal stated that the two met via Instagram in 2021 and gradually developed a relationship. Over time, he claims, the woman borrowed lakhs of rupees, citing urgent medical needs for herself and her family. She also allegedly sought money for shopping, promising repayment, which has not occurred. The cricketer insists he possesses evidence backing these claims.

Dayal maintains that he chose to seek legal recourse after learning about the woman’s complaint in Ghaziabad. He is now actively pursuing justice through the courts.
