OnePlus is all set to unveil its first-ever compact flagship smartphone — the OnePlus 13s — tomorrow, expanding its OnePlus 13 lineup, which already includes the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. The live launch event will be streamed online starting at 12 PM IST.
Positioned as a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and Google Pixel 9a in the Android segment, the OnePlus 13s also aims to challenge Apple’s iPhone 16e in the premium compact smartphone category.
Key Specifications and Features
The OnePlus 13s has already been confirmed to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, which promises top-tier performance. The device is expected to offer up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of internal storage, ensuring ample multitasking and storage capacity.
On the camera front, a dual rear camera setup is anticipated, led by a 50MP primary sensor, accompanied by an ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calls, a 32MP front-facing camera could be featured.
Design-wise, the phone boasts a sleek 8.15mm profile, weighs approximately 185 grams, and incorporates a 2.5D curved glass design on both front and back.
Despite its compact form, the OnePlus 13s is expected to house a battery exceeding 5,000mAh, backed by fast charging support. For thermal management, it will come equipped with a 4400mm² Cryo-Velocity vapor chamber, ensuring efficient heat dissipation during heavy usage.
Enhanced User Experience
One of the standout features is the new Plus Key, an evolution of the Alert Slider, offering enhanced customization. Users can quickly access functions like Sound, Vibration, Do Not Disturb, and AI tools with a single press.
The device will be available in three stylish finishes: Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and Green Silk.
