Elon Musk Admits: ‘I Went Too Far’ with Trump Posts
Elon Musk has admitted that some of his posts about Donald Trump may have been too
much. The two well-known figures argued publicly through TV interviews and posts on X
(formerly Twitter).
The fight started after Musk left his role in the government and began speaking out against
the Republican Party’s new tax plan. In one post, Musk claimed that Trump’s name is in the
secret Jeffrey Epstein files and suggested that this might be why the government hasn’t
shared the files with the public.

Now, Musk says he may have gone too far with his comments. His words have sparked new
conversations about how powerful people use social media, and where the line should be
drawn.
“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real
reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT! Mark this post for the future.
The truth will come out,” alleged Elon Musk in his post, which was deleted on June 7.
“I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far,”
Elon Musk posted on X on June 11.
