With the official launch just around the corner, Nothing has confirmed that the Nothing Phone 3 will feature a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom and 60x ultra zoom, adding to the growing excitement around the smartphone. The periscope lens is also said to support a 10cm telemacro function, ideal for detailed close-up photography.

As the July 1 launch approaches, the company has been teasing various features of the device. Most recently, Nothing shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) confirming the design and capabilities of the periscope lens. The post also mentions that the camera is “built for creators,” suggesting the inclusion of creator-focused features and tools.

Based on what has been revealed and anticipated:

  • Periscope lens: 50MP with 3x optical and 60x ultra zoom, 10cm telemacro

Additionally, Nothing claims a 74% slimmer camera bump compared to the Phone 3a Pro, pointing towards a refined and sleeker design.

Under the hood, the Nothing Phone 3 is confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, promising AI features, smoother performance, and efficient multitasking. As per early Geekbench scores, the device achieved:

  • 6577 points (multi-core)

The device is also tipped to feature:

  • 16GB RAM
  • Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.5
  • 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate
  • 5150mAh battery with 65W fast charging support
