Dhanush, Rashmika, and Nagarjuna-starrer eyes strong box office debut
The much-anticipated film Kuberaa, featuring Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in key roles, is all set for a grand theatrical release this Friday. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, the film is already generating significant buzz ahead of its premiere.
Adding to the growing excitement is the film’s notable runtime—3 hours and 15 minutes. However, Kuberaa has come under the scanner of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), which has reportedly asked for 19 cuts, resulting in a trimmed runtime with nearly 14 minutes removed. This move has piqued the curiosity of fans, who are eager to discover what led to such scrutiny.
Advance bookings have already picked up pace, reflecting solid interest from the audience. The mystery around the CBFC cuts, paired with an ensemble cast, is expected to give the film a strong word-of-mouth push, potentially boosting its box office reach.
The film also stars Jim Sarbh, Dalip Tahil, and Sayaji Shinde in prominent roles.
